Our main material supplier, Cousins UK, has been appointed official Omega spare parts stockist for the UK and can supply all Omega movement and casing parts  and they offer an exchange system for the more expensive movements.

If you require a replacement links/bracelets/clasps etc for Omega we require the number from inside the clasp.
Complete bracelet numbers look like this 1455/448. The first four digits is the bracelet body and the last three is the end piece. Only the first four digits is required to order the Stainless Steel links .
We recommend you visit this web site http://www.ofrei.com/page661.html to identify the parts required and either obtain from the US or contact us if you will require these parts to be fitted.

Many modern Omega of less than 10 years old have ETA movements that we keep a stock of in this workshop. Water sealing and supply of genuine parts is available.

Preventive Maintenance

What should I do to ensure that my watch continues to provide excellent service for many years?

Magnetic fields: avoid placing your watch on speakers or refrigerators, since these have strong magnetic fields.

Bathing in the sea: always rinse your watch with warm water afterwards.

Shocks: whether thermal or other, avoid them.

Screw-in-crown: screw it in carefully to ensure that no water enters the mechanism.

Cleaning: for metal bracelets and for all water resistant cases use a toothbrush with soapy water and a soft cloth for drying.

Chemical products: avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products etc., since they may damage the bracelet, the case or the gaskets.

Temperatures:avoid extreme temperatures above 60 ?C or 140 ?F below 0 ?C or 32 ?F or extreme temperature changes.

Chronograph push-pieces:
Do not operate chronograph pushers under water in order to prevent water entering the mechanism.
Exception: The Seamaster 300M and 600M chronographs have pushers which can function under water.

Service Intervals

What are the service intervals?
Like any high-precision instrument, a watch needs to be serviced regularly in order to work perfectly. Obviously, we cannot indicate the intervals for such work, which depends on the model, climate and the care taken by the watch's owner. As a general rule, service intervals are between 4 and 5 years, depending on the use of the watch.
OMEGA recommends that you follow the steps below in order to preserve the condition of your leather strap as long as possible:

1. Avoid contact with water and dampness to prevent discoloration and deformation.

2. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight to prevent the colour from fading.

3. Do not forget that leather is permeable! Therefore avoid contact with greasy substances and cosmetic products.

4. If you have a problem with your leather strap, please contact your nearest OMEGA retailer.

5. In spite of the fact that the life expectancy of leather (as an organic material) is limited in time (sweat, wear and tear etc.) a leather strap should last for a period of about 6 months, without alteration of its aesthetic look.

History of Omega Watches

This Swiss watch company has been making instruments of precision and beauty since its inception 155 years ago. Omega was one of the first brands to create chronographs and chronometers and was a leader in timing Olympic Games early in the 20th century. Omega landed on the moon in the 1960s. In its world-renowned Speedmaster series, Omega recently unveiled the Speedmaster Broad Arrow limited-edition watch. Based on the first model in the Speedmaster series, this newest addition uses an exclusive, completely new Omega chronograph movement.

Omega has unveiled a new version of the Speedmaster Professional Chronograph - still the only watch ever worn on the moon. The movement of the new model is the Caliber 861, originally implemented in the Speedmasters. However, it employs the latest technical standards. Additionally the design of the moon watch retains the same classic look it had in the 1960s, with black dial and luminous markers and hands.

In its more elegant Constellation collection, Omega offers a host of versatile new models. The Constellation 50th Anniversary watch was unveiled in 2002.  New versions of the My Choice Constellation Mini also have been unveiled.  New chronometer models, including a Co-Axial Chronograph crafted in either steel or 18 karat rose gold, have also joined the De Ville Co-Axial series. This marks the first time a chronograph watch has been fitted with a Co-Axial escapement.

Current Omega Models:  Constellation, De Vile, Olympic Series, Planet Ocean, Seamaster and Speedmaster
